Sensex rose 13.84 points or 0.05 per cent and is trading at 29 394. Nifty rose 2.35 points or 0.03 per cent and trading at 8925 level. Metal sector dropped by 0.5 per cent. Realty stocks fell by 0.44 per cent. Capital goods fell by 0.34 per cent. Healthcare stocks climbed 1.67 percent. FMCG shares rose 1.23 per cent. Consumer durables stocks are trading up 0.67 per cent.

Midcap and smallcap stocks have buying trend. BSE Midcap and Smallcap index has gained 0.5 percent growth. All BSE indices are in green. Capital goods, power, banking, realty and consumer durables have buying trend. Sensex rose 240 points or 0.8 per cent and is trading at 29 460. Nifty rose 60 points or 0.7 per cent and is trading at 8904 levels.

Midcap and smallcap stocks have marginal gains. Pharma, IT and Realty stocks have buying trends. Metal, Auto and Banking stocks have selling pressure. Sensex fell 75 points or 0.25 per cent and is trading at 29 384. Nifty is down by 26 points or 0.3 per cent and is trading at 8931.

BSE Sensex fell 654.25 points or 2.33 percent and closed at 27457.58 and the NSE Nifty dropped 188.65 points or 2.21 percent and closed at 8342.15. Midcap and smallcap stocks are worst sufferer. Except BSE Capital Goods Index,all other indices were in red. IT, metal and banking stocks were dominated with selling.
