Global Market Updates: Asian markets are trading on a positive today. At 7: 43 am (IST), Asian markets were trading higher. China's Shanghai Composite was up 0.33% or 7.41 points at 2,280.81. Hong Kong's Hang Seng rose 0.44% or 98.16 points at 22,635.97. Japan's Nikkei gained 0.99% or 115.83 points at 11,768.12. Singapore's Straits Times added 0.25% or 8.03 points at 3,247.98. Today stock market is in buying side shows green shade for both BSE and NSE . the bse benchmark upby 54 points in early trade and NSE the 30 share barometer up by 54.25 points to 20301 .58 but now bse trade above 20256 points and NSE 6177 points at 10.40 AM.

After a volatile week, the market has consolidated on Friday. The Nifty held around 8250-level firmly with support from IT, auto, pharma and FMCG stocks. The 50-share index ended at 8262.35, up 38.15 points or 0.5 percent while the Sensex was up 117.94 points or 0.4 percent at 27324. According to Ridham Desai, Managing Director, Morgan Stanley, 8000 is a good level for the Nifty. However, he continues to maintain his year-end Sensex target at 32500. He says macros and data points in India have improved in the last few months. Desai continues to remain bullish on equities and says the correction has given a good entry point to investors. He says the Indian market is still in a bull phase and the ongoing correction is a part of the bull market correction. Equity benchmarks began steady Monday, with realty, and oil and gas shares leading early gainers. The Sensex was up 41 points at 19724 and the Nifty up 13 points at 5958. The benchmarks rallied around 4 percent each last week, but experts feel the pace of the uptrend could moderate as the market lacks fundamental triggers at this point. Today in Indian stock market had a weak start. In early trading it shows selling pressure.Sensex dropped 185 points and Nifty rolled down to 7515 levels. Midcap and Smallcap stocks also lost the edge. At 10:25 am, the Sensex fell 128 points to 25,186 and Nifty at 7535, down 34 points. Midcap and Smallcap stocks are looks sluggish.

Today also the Indian stock market witnessed a strong start.After opening Sensex touched the upper level of 26,949 points . While Nifty touched the upper level of 8055 . Both Sensex and Nifty made a new record. Midcap and Smallcap stocks also have buying trends. The Pharma, Consumer Durables, auto, realty and banking stocks are also seems to have buying . Although in IT and oil & gas stocks have slight softening trend . The 30-share BSE Sensex index is currently leading with 73 points, ie 0.25 per cent is trading at a level of 26 940. The NSE 50-share Nifty index gained 25 points, ie, 0.3 per cent is trading at 8052.5.

Indian benchmark indices ended higher in response the balanced budget presented by the Finance Minister. Sensex was up 141.4 points or 0.5% at 29361.5, while Nifty was up 57.3 points or 0.6% at 8901.9. US stocks closed mixed, with stocks near recent highs, as concerns about oil prices and a worse-than-expected initial jobless claims figure weighed on investor sentiment. DJIA was down 81.7 points or -0.4% at 18132.7.

U.S. stocks retreated to one-month lows on the back of a surge in the U.S. dollar and some weakness in oil. DJIA was down 332.8 points or -1.8% at 17662.9. Asian stocks are trading mixed as markets awaited more data that could shed light on the state of China's economy. After a strong Tuesday, the day saw a stable close today. Gaining 128 points, the Sensex ended at day's high while the Nifty added 34.35 points to close at 5818.60. Overall, the market remained in narrow trading range. Steady European markets also boosted sentiments in India. Gainers of the day were Sterlite Industries (up 4.7 percent), Hindalco (up 3.4 percent) and Tata Motors (up 2.9 percent). Star of the market was high beta stocks like realty and infra.
