Gold prices are taking resistance at 26950 level. On downside it has very good support at 26820 level. RSI is suggesting flat momentum. MCX Silver prices were trading in flat range only. On downside it has very good support at 35950 level. On upside prices need to gain momentum above resistance level of 36350 level.

A host of new negatives (Fed notwithstanding) are combining to trigger a downside breakout from the Aug. 9 consolidation with an initial target of Dow 9,680.
