After a strong Tuesday, the day saw a stable close today. Gaining 128 points, the Sensex ended at day's high while the Nifty added 34.35 points to close at 5818.60. Overall, the market remained in narrow trading range. Steady European markets also boosted sentiments in India. Gainers of the day were Sterlite Industries (up 4.7 percent), Hindalco (up 3.4 percent) and Tata Motors (up 2.9 percent). Star of the market was high beta stocks like realty and infra. Today Indian stock market is trading with more than 0.5 per cent growth.On morning at 10:50 am, the Sensex gained 158 points to 25,487 and Nifty gained 42 points to 7617 levels. Midcap and Smallcap stocks rose from 0.8 to 1.2 per cent. Realty stocks grows by 2.25 per cent. Auto shares rose 2 per cent and Capital goods rose 1 percent. Bank, IT, technical, consumer durables, metal stocks are strong by 0.5 per cent. Healthcare, Oil & Gas, Power shares also shows growth.FMCG stocks are under pressure. In Realty stocks, Indiabulls Real Estate, DLF, Oberoi Realty, HDIL, Delta Corp, Unitech rose from 3.3 to 2 per cent.

Metal and Oil & Gas stocks are trading with weakness. Sensex is down by 12.22 points or 0.04 per cent and is trading at 28491. Nifty rose 2.55 points or 0.03 per cent and is trading at 8645. Metal stocks fell by 1.41 percent. Power stocks have a weakness of nearly 1 per cent. Oil & Gas, FMCG and capital goods stocks are dull. IT and tech stocks have strong movements today.

Mid and small caps rose 0.74 percent each. Sensex is up 0.09 percent or 24 points and trading at 28,188. Nifty is up 0.04 percent or 4 points and trading at 8,429. Banks, IT and Oil & gas are down. Telecom and Auto shares are high.

Midcap and Smallcap stocks have buying trend. Realty, Banking and Capital Goods stocks also have buying. Metal stock are in selling. Sensex gain 53 points or 0.2 per cent and is trading at 26,805. Nifty gain 15 points or 0.2 per cent and is trading at 8006.
