Generally, having superpowers is a good thing (okay, okay. La NBC non solo ha commissionato una seconda stagione da 24 episodi (quest'anno sono stati 23), ma ha dato la sua benedizione per un quasi-spinoff molto particolare dal titolo Heroes: Origins.In sostanza si tratterà di 6 episodi, ognuno con una trama a sè, che avranno lo scopo di presentare ogni volta un nuovo personaggio raccontandone la storia passata, precedente o contemporanea gli eventi narrati nella prima stagione. Alla fine di ogni episodio i telespettatori avranno la possibilità di votare (le modalità della votazione sono ancora da definire) per stabilire quale di questi potrà entrare a far parte in pianta stabile del cast principale nel finale della seconda o nella (prevedibile) terza stagione, insieme ad Hayden Panettiere (qui la sua gallery), Masi Oka, Ali Larter e agli altri.
