    Hello everyone!

I have set this group up for us to use throughout the course as our shared references area.

Think of diigo and this group as our own course 'library' of references based not only on course content areas, and topics of interest within content areas, but also materials related to pedagogy in general, and even any of your own discipline-specific resources that you may want to bring into the course as reference. Also, any resources specifically dedicated to the knowledge and use of incorporating technology into any classroom would be of interest to us all i think.

Very specifically, you are required to bookmark, highlight, and comment on any links, references, and citations that you use in any course discussions, assignments, blog posts, etc.). This semester, in addition to bookmarking any references, my expectation is that we will make greater use of the highlighting, and commenting features in this tool.

By using diigo to document all the references that come up during the course we will have a fantastic easily accessible common annotated bibliography of resources that you will be able to keep, use, and continue to contribute to beyond the end of the term.

I have bookmarked several resources here for you and this course, and evaluated and tested the use of diigo with the students in this course last summer. So, you will note that their links remain in the group, and you will also see that they continue to be members of the group.

I would like your input on how we use diigo in this course. If you have any comments, or suggestions, please let me know.
