Can't change Filter & View options of My Library - 9 views

    I try to click & select display settings for Filter or View and nothing happens. For example, my view setting is currently 'Middle', but when I try to change it to 'Simple', nothing changes.

    I have IE8 on Windows XP. I have verified that java scriptlets is enabled in Tools > Internet Options > Security.

    What am I doing wrong or how do I fix this issue?
