I'm trying to diagnose a problem with XMLRPC between drupal and diigo, and I suspect that there may just be a bug in drupal's 'send to blog' function. Here's the case:

I have a drupal (5.x) system set up with an administrator roll (we'll call 'admin') and a user we'll call 'pbradl42'. When I send from diigo *as the administrator*, the post goes through, but appears in drupal without a type. When I send from diigo *as pbradl42*, the post is rejected because "You do not have permission to create the type of post you wanted to create."

Now, before you assume that my drupal site is misconfigured - ,my BlogAPI module is set to map all incoming requests to type 'blog', AND pbradl42 can *successfully* post blog entries (with the right type) via xmlrpc with blogwriterLITE for the iPod Touch, ScribeFire AND Flickr. BlogWriterLITE and ScribeFire are even able to retrieve my categories for public blog posts.

Any one else have similar problems?

It *was*, in fact, a bug - it isn't anymore. I posted the same message to drupal support, and they got right on it. It should work now, although you will probably have to put '1' in for the 'blogID' field. Don't ask me why - but it works with, and doesn't work without.
