Bookmarks Export Error! - 27 views

When I choose Bookmarks Export with "RSS Format" and get the "Bookmark Export Done" Notification, I return to export page. It shows:
"Job ID Export Format Status Progress Version Download
    # 101xx RSS Process Successfully %100 2009_08_30 zip 195kb"
However when I click on the file link, only the first 35.23 kb of the zip file can be downloaded, after that, it shows
    "The connection was reset"

Can you help me with it?

    Thank you!

The problem occurs for both firefox and IE!

    Thank you for your reminding.

The problem is caused by ISP. When I use proxy for downloading, the problem has gone.

Hate China's Great Firewall. It resets too much TCP connections no matter its content is about politics or not.

Could Diigo treat www.*.com and *.com as the same site? - 23 views

Sometimes people use link *.com for short and the site redirects them to www.*.com, then there will be no issue. However, in other sites (most sites are in this case), both the page with and without www are accepted, and the same page content is given. If I make some highlights on the page when I use address without 'www', but the next time with it, the hightlights will not shown. Or vice verse. So to see those highlights, I have to type the address without the prefix again.

The most terrible thing is when I left some trace on both of the pages with and without 'www' prefix, and I have no way smart to merge them together. I only have to re-do the highlight/ comments on other page again.

Could Diigo treat www.*.com and *.com as the same link? It do will convenient people.

However, one problem needs notice is that for some sites, *.com and www.*.com are completely different page. Hope you can find a way to make a perfect solution.

    Thank you!

Bug: make firefox crash when visiting long page - 34 views

  • Kepler L

Diigo is really a great tool.

However, I find it makes firefox crash when visiting the page:
    http://www.ieee802.org/16/tgm/

It is a text based page for ieee engineers which I visit frequently. And the page keep growing when new contributions are delivered to ieee. Diigo works well on this page months ago. I guess may the page is too large and make diigo tool crash and then firefox crash(there will be no response from firefox after most of the page is displayed).

Now I have to disable diigo to visit this page. However, I have made a lot of notes (by diigo) on this page and I really need them.

Could you help me with this problem ASAP?

    Thank you very much!

    About the environment:
I am using firefox 3.0.0.1 on windows xp OS.

I find the browser go alive when waiting for a long time.

It maybe the page is too long and I add too many notes.
Could you improve the diigo tool to reduce the response time and memory requirement (there is only 256MB on my machine)?

Support of hiding unwanted comments and highlight of other users - 42 views

The old version of diigo toolbar in firefox supported hiding unwanted comments and highlight of other users. It is very useful since sometimes you are not want to be annoyed by some of other user's footprints. I remember the function is designed as let go of some of the group selected by you. And it worked quite well. I like it very much and it really help me to improve my reading efficiency.

So I strongly suggest to re-add this function in diigo toolbar. Thank you!
