When I simply forward a page, a link is included in the email no problem. If I highlight a page then forward it, the email does not contain a link to the page (the title of the page is still there, but with no hyperlink to the url).
Is this a problem other people are having?
Thanks Andrew
PS I was trying to use the function to discuss with friends who we should see on the Glastonbury lineup - a handy way to do it, if it worked!
I'm forwarding to a Yahoo mail address using the IE toolbar. I tried it to a Hotmail account and it worked fine.
This got me thinking it was something specific to Yahoo mail. However I tried it to my work email address and it doesn't work properly there either: when I open the message in Outlook the text is coloured and underlined as if it is a hyperlink, but when I click on it a dialgoue opens asking titled "Locate link browser" and asking me to point it to an .exe file. When I point it to IE, an IE opens but comes up with a "syntax error" message.
What's strange is with both Yahoo mail and my work account, the Diigo link at the bottom of the message (in the line that reads "Forwarding webpages with highlights and sticky notes, powered by Diigo") works fine.
So is there something strange about the formatting of the link that gets Yahoo mail and Outlook confused?
