upgrade bug inconsistency

I created a group for my students to use. Whilst it was working last Friday 10th Feb, albeit extremely slow, since then I have been receiving this message "Sorry, we are either doing a backend upgrade, or experiencing some temporary difficulties. Please try again later. If the problem persists, please kindly report to us."". I am accessing the group in the same way as last week, tried different browsers. I cannot access the group so assume my students can't either. What is going on with Diigo?

By the way, the group is private. I've had some emails back from students (plus moderators) saying they also can't access the group so it is not a problem with my access. It was working fine last week, but seems to have stopped during the weekend.

I've now created a test open group and I can access that group. I am beginning to think it is a problem with accessing private groups...is it that Diigo does not want private groups? :)

I've made the private group open for a couple of minutes, logged out and logged in again. Still does not work. Bearing in mind the service was very slow on Friday, I wonder if there a problem with Diigo servers and that is why that group does not work.

Our servers have experienced a temporary glitch. We have fixed this issue.

Thank you for your reply. It seems to be working now. However, it does worry me in terms of reliability of the service when access to a group is blocked for a period of 5 days...
