    Example: at http://groups.diigo.com/Diigo_HQ/forum/topic/rss-feed-of-unread-bookmarks-3429 click

    * Sean Brady said ..
    * Jared Stein said ...

    Results, respectively:

    http://groups.diigo.com/Diigo_HQ/forum/seanbrady
    redirects to
    http://groups.diigo.com/groups/Diigo_HQ

    http://groups.diigo.com/Diigo_HQ/forum/jaredstein
    reports

    > No such a member named Jared Stein in this group

    A third example
    http://groups.diigo.com/Diigo_HQ/forum/joel works :)

The second message is familiar, I usually assume that a member has joined then left the group but now, I wonder whether there are one or two issues here.

    Regards
    Graham

Backtracking, I find that a group topic view of Sean Brady suggests that his bookmarks page might be

    http://www.diigo.com/user/seanbrady

The proper URL for Sean is in fact

    http://www.diigo.com/user/sbrady

http://www.diigo.com/user/grahamperrin works for me only because my Diigo username happens to be concatenation of my forename and surname.

    http://groups.diigo.com/Diigo_HQ/forum/natetronn

    > No such a member named Natetronn Jackson in this group

(I like-a the Britalian grammar, by the way)

but Nate has contributed as recently as sixteen hours ago
    http://groups.diigo.com/Diigo_HQ/forum/topic/private-public-unread-bookmarks-for-research-7338#23
so I'm not sure about that statement of non-membership.

    http://groups.diigo.com/Diigo_HQ/forum/jaredstein still reports

    > No such a member named Jared Stein in this group

    http://groups.diigo.com/Diigo_HQ/forum/natetronn still reports

    > No such a member named Natetronn Jackson in this group

    http://groups.diigo.com/Diigo_HQ/forum/somecallmetim today reports

    > No such a member named Tim V in this group

    - the bug's appearance is frequent, I find many references from posters to this forum to "No such a member … in this group"

    - my sense is that for all affected members of this group: the bug is consistent.

    ----

The initial observation was slightly different,
    http://groups.diigo.com/Diigo_HQ/forum/seanbrady
    still redirects to
    http://groups.diigo.com/groups/Diigo_HQ
and it seems that the more proper reference should be
    http://groups.diigo.com/Diigo_HQ/forum/sbrady

    - a guess: was Sean's user name changed at some point?

    http://groups.diigo.com/user/sbrady lists Diigo Community.

http://groups.diigo.com/user/jaredstein does not list Diigo Community.

http://groups.diigo.com/user/natetronn does not list Diigo Community.

    http://groups.diigo.com/user/somecallmetim lists no groups.

All four users are posters to this group (this forum) so for three of the four, the listings are incorrect.

A second guess: relational database issue?
