Diigo, please:
1. When will service resume?
2. Why so long?
3. What measures are in place to prevent a recurrence of extended downtime?
Whilst I'm grateful for free service from Diigo, I'm also reminded of Furl search failures (November 2005 through February 2006 and beyond), an unbearably long period that drove me to discard Furl; I moved on first to BlinkList, then to Diigo.
The extended downtime, apparently over six weeks, is a _serious_ concern. My faith in Diigo is properly dented.†
TIA for comments
Best regards Graham
--- † Diigo seems to finds content only if it was bookmarked before the downtime began; fails to find HTML content that was bookmarked on 10th February.
I'm guessing there still working on fixing/improving the cacheing system then? Hopefully it works in the next version. Also thanks for the quick response.

http://www.diigo.com/cached?url=http%3A%2F%2Fgroups.diigo.com%2Fdiigo-feature-requests-community%2Fforum%2Ftopic%2Fimages-or-html-links-in-annotations-43788 was cached around nine hours ago, but it's maybe not indexed; if I search for text within the cached copy, the bookmark is not found.
http://www.diigo.com/cached?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.readwriteweb.com%2Farchives%2Fthe_dam_just_broke_facebook_opens_up_to_openid.php was cached probably on 2009-05-21 but it's maybe not indexed.
http://www.diigo.com/cached?url=http%3A%2F%2Fdev.aol.com%2Fapi%2Fxdrive was cached probably on 2009-04-11 but it's maybe not indexed.
For a similarly dated bookmark http://about.diigo.com/about/blog.kowalczyk.info%2Farticle%2FExporting-data-from-EverNote.html (2009-04-11) a cached copy is currently not available.
I guess that the gaps will fill in due course and that eventually, full-text searches (of cached copies) will be valid.

And again, much improved:
* http://www.diigo.com/cached?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.electronista.com%2Farticles%2F09%2F05%2F26%2Fms.confirms.zune.hd available less than four minutes after the Diigo bookmark was made.
For some bookmarks: yes, in good time (a great improvement compared to the original situation).
For other bookmarks: no.
