"Show Annotations Automatically" setting in Chrome-not persistent? - 11 views

  I use the extension on Chrome, and the "Show Annotations Automatically" setting has never stayed checked. As soon as I close Chrome, when I re-open it, that box will be unchecked. As far as I can tell, all other settings remain through a browser restart. Why doesn't this one?
