I am a new Diigo user and I am trying to get some of my existing bookmarks into Diigo. I tried to import my Delicious bookmarks by uploading the bookmark file on Wednesday but after no bookmarks appeared I tried resubmitting the file on Thursday. Today, Friday, and still no bookmarks, so I tried importing some bookmarks using the Firefox toolbar. After about seven hours I still do not see any of the bookmarks appearing.

I see from previous posts that importing should not take this long so I am not sure if this is just a temporary glitch and I should just try again next week or if there is a better method of getting my bookmarks into Diigo.

Check this page ( Long Furl update status )
    http://groups.diigo.com/Diigo_HQ/forum/topic/important-furl-transition-update-42800

Diigo is processing huge amount of transfer requests and thousands of emails non-stop! so it will take few Days to complete Initially.

Yep, me too. It's been days and no reply from the system (and no bookmarks imported). I tried importing both by file upload and by giving my delicious credentials.

This is something I am not quite getting. I understand the Fulr migration process and the strain it surely puts your servers under. But ... the service you are providing to your new user base (which I am a part of) is lousy at best. I am having exactly the same issues as other users in this thread, and was looking forward to using Diigo as a central tool in some projects. The inability to import my existing bookmarks to my account is inhibiting that.
Diigo looks amazing in the demo videos. It is a pity the team doesn't seem to be that keen on offering a reliable service.
