Has anyone figures out a good way to post bookmarks from a mobile device? Much of my web reading happens on the bus to and from work via my iPhone and I'd would love a way to post bookmarks directly to my Diigo account...even without tagging or highlighting functionality. An iPhone app would be ideal, but I'd settle for a mobile safari function or a post-via-email address.

In response to Joel's invitation, conversation tended towards Firefox (and presumably Flock and Internet Explorer) -only development, I argued that we should expect web technologies (not browser-specific technologies).
To that list I should add http://m.diigo.com/ although considering the constraints of mobile, we can't expect m.diigo.com to be entirely harmonious with domains that are designed for desktop.

In this forum we have a few issues (bugs and suggestions, some recently resolved) with Diigolet and related dialogues. Plus issues that are specific to browsers. Without referring to any one issue, my broad sense is that many may be deferred or rejected if we take the following approach:
1. desktop, through the web (TTW) (any browser): a Diigo Dashboard http://www.diigo.com/dashboard/ route to preferences for the read later button
2. desktop, TTW: 'read later' button to appear in Diigolet
3. iPhone, TTW (typically Safari): 'read later' button to appear in Diigolet
4. iPhone, primarily offline: a 'reading' application to comprise (a) aspects of Diigo plus other complementary technologies, and (b) triage, or something like it (re: triage, I'll post a separate topic)

(thanks to Maggie) mentions uses on iPhone;

highlights the April 2008 announcement of the prototype for mobile,
and I guess that you already use http://m.diigo.com/user/somecallmetim
However: the m.diigo.com UI lacks your requested feature:
> post bookmarks
A highlight from http://groups.diigo.com/Diigo_HQ/forum/topic/5766#15

http://groups.diigo.com/Diigo_HQ/forum/topic/8956#5 clarifies that
>> keen for http://about.diigo.com/ http://groups.diigo.com/
>> http://message.diigo.com/ http://www.diigo.com/ to be more
>> consistent, more harmonious, easier to use, more appealing
To that list I should add http://m.diigo.com/ although considering the constraints of mobile, we can't expect m.diigo.com to be entirely harmonious with domains that are designed for desktop.

5. desktop, TTW, at http://groups.diigo.com/ http://www.diigo.com/ and their desktop-oriented siblings: 'post-reading' and other activities.
There's workflow, without slavery to workflow.
Of the five points, (3) is closest to your request:
> post bookmarks
Re: details of points (3) and (4) and of triage, I'll post separately.
Postscript: I'll await a response to http://groups.diigo.com/Diigo_HQ/forum/topic/9009 then post to two fora then await their responses before continuing…
