Yes, That is great. I would like to know how to get that information. But, can we take it one step further and have each individual user show up instead of the group as a whole?

there is a "send to" action under each bookmark item, try it

Without focusing on an individual person, or a group

In your bookmarks http://www.diigo.com/user/ldigges wherever you see a line

    > Tags: no_tag on 2009-08-10 and saved by 28 people -All Annotations (527) -About

    i) All annotations presents annotations from all users (not limited to any particular group)

ii) About also presents annotations from all users of Diigo, but in a more statistical way.

The first approach to all annotations includes an often overlooked [Preview] area at the head of the window, to help contextualise the content.

    Groups

At http://groups.diigo.com/user/Ldigges I see that you're experimenting with groups, that's good.

There is also available a sandpit group.

A free premium account especially designed for educators

At http://www.diigo.com/index have you seen the Educator accounts offer? (Just checking :-)

    Returning to the original subject:

    * Vincent's answer is spot on.

    Also in the Share menu:

    * Get annotated link

      - a student may find this useful for sharing with anyone - not necessarily group members or a tutor - with or without Diigo - an overlay of their highlights:

A student may prefer to take the second option shown above, unless they wish their own annotations to be overlaid with those of other users.

Example of an annotated link: http://www.diigo.com/073fi with just one highlight, and its colour (green) signifies that a note is attached.

The smart thing about annotated links is that they're good for public readership. The reader need not install Diigo or Diigolet; simply, on receipt of an annotated link, following it causes toolbar of Diigolet to load (without requiring sign in) and draws the highlights.

    Enjoy!

Thanks again. I tried to do what Vincent suggested, but I am still getting a lot of comments from a number of students. I think I should have asked them to create their own bookmarks before they started taking notes. If they would have done this, I think the "send to" option would be the most ideal. However, since I didn't, I am stuck with a mess. I know this might be a very beginner question, but how can I fix the problem of too many people using one bookmark?

We are so close to getting my stuff figured out. Thanks for sticking with me and offering your assistance.

Focus on one student, watch over them briefly to see what happens when they use the send option.

The dialogue should present only that user's annotations, not those of other users.
