Cache function to save content - 32 views

One major issue for me is the cache function, since many things in the internet disappear, particulalry so in the Chinese one which I bookmark a lot
Is it certain that sites I bookmark stay cached, so I can read them even when a site or particular content on it disappears? Does the site get cached the moment I bookmark it? Is the cache being updated? I hope not since that would mean deleted content would disappear?
    Anybody clear on this?

    Thanks!

In order to clarify this, since I read another thread now. My most important question is when the caching is being done?
For example, when I bookmark a thread in an online discussion forum at a certain point, it might be that a few hours later some of the content in this thread is being deleted. So I hope the caching is done at the point when I bookmark and is NOT being updated later, so I can still read the original content. Is that so?

    Best regards
