Note: Using Desktop Chrome with the Diigo extension.
Most times when I'm editing a text message online, for example in a comment box on G+ or in a newspaper comments section, when I select a portion of text, the Diigo toolbar pops up and changes the selection. Usually it selects the rest of the text to the end of the paragraph, and can also sometimes select to the beginning of the sentence.
So if I select a portion of text and hit delete without looking carefully, I end up deleting far more than intended, and have to ctrl-z. I find that this happens mostly if I sweep the selection from right to left. If I repeat the selection from left to right, Diigo doesn't change the selection.
If I disable the Diigo extension, the browser just selects exactly what I sweep over.
Has anyone else noticed this behaviour? Is there a workaround? Should it be reported as a bug?
