Alyssa Bustamante received a life sentence for the October 2009 death of Elizabeth K. Olten, according to the Cole County Circuit Court clerk's office in Jefferson City.

Even if she did kill the child. Giving her the life sentence gives her no chance to prove that she will change in the future. Now she will only know of life in prison because she is still only a teenager. life in a prison isnot something that people can live with. Even if she does get out she may not be able to cope with the outside world. It is really sad what the world has come to...

One of the men has been charged with five aggravated homicides, while the other has been charged with 11 aggravated homicides, Judge Rolando Vomero said in an interview Sunday with CNN affiliate Teledoce, noting that the two men appeared to have acted independently of each other.
