France's interior minister says prosecutors have opened a preliminary investigation of two Paris police officers in connection with the suspected rape of a Canadian tourist inside police headquarters.

Baltimore police are investigating a caught-on-camera incident that appears to show a police officer spitting on a handcuffed suspect. WBAL's Jayne Miller reports.

"When police began to investigate Watson as a suspect in 2009, all of the evidence that was taken from the crime scene and the victim's car were reopened and re-marked. The note that was found at the crime scene was missing. Curiously, a "Def Leppard" T-Shirt from a 1983 concert tour was in with the evidence of the 1978 crime."

Brunswick, Georgia (CNN) -- A 14-year-old suspected of shooting a baby in the coastal city of Brunswick, Georgia, will make his first appearance in court at 9:30 a.m. ET Monday, according to a court clerk. Two teen boys were charged with murder Friday. The 14-year-old isn't being named because he's a minor.

It angers me when people just don't think about their actions. And these boys had the nerve to go and try to take money from this lady and then shoot her then kill her son what is wrong with people these days I mean seriously.

Acapulco, Mexico (CNN) -- Mexican authorities are holding five suspects in connection with the alleged rapes of six Spanish tourists in Acapulco, Guerrero state Gov. Angel Aguirre Rivero said Sunday.

(CNN) -- The FBI said Monday night that a Tennessee mother and her 14-year-old daughter are dead, though the man they believe abducted them -- along with two other daughters -- remains at large. Authorities previously reported that they had found two bodies Friday at a Guntown, Mississippi, residence tied to the kidnapping suspect, Adam Mayes.

A man wanted by the FBI for killing a mother and daughter and kidnapping two other girls shot himself to death as officers closed in, but the two children were rescued without injuries and released from a hospital Friday.

(CNN) -- Two more arrests were made in connection with the shooting death of a Mississippi State University student on campus, bringing the total number of suspects to three, officials said Tuesday. All three suspects are from the Jackson, Mississippi, metro area, and they are believed to be acquaintances of the victim, who is from Madison, Mississippi, said university Police Chief Georgia Lindley.

i think they should see what was inside that creep and dark mind of his because they can figure out why he he went crazy and shoot people at a movie theater.

(CNN) -- Arron Lewis, the suspect in the abduction and slaying of Arkansas real estate agent Beverly Carter, told reporters Tuesday that he pleaded not guilty to the charges only because his lawyer told him to. He said he wanted to plead guilty because he just wanted "this to be over with."

Victorville, California (CNN) -- The man accused of killing the McStay family pleaded not guilty Wednesday in a California court to murder charges. Charles "Chase" Merritt, 57, was a close friend and business partner of Joseph McStay, whose body -- along with those of his wife Summer and their two young sons, Gianni and Joseph Jr.

"Through the efforts of the Omaha Police Department and the FBI, investigators developed Blake as a suspect. Investigators determined that Blake was on parole from a prior robbery offense. As part of his parole, he was required to wear an electronic monitoring device on his ankle. Data from the device was analyzed and Blake was tracked by time and location to the places where each robbery occurred, to the locations where both vehicles had been stolen and to the locations where all three vehicles had been abandoned after the crimes."

"n this case, the search of a robbery suspect's backpack while he was being questioned yielded a ring, a digital camera, and other items. The police warrantlessly searched the digital phone, discovering a photo of the suspect next to a firearm later determined to have been stolen. This led to two convictions: one for the stolen property and one for carrying a firearm without a license."
