Not yet, unless you have an update, the boy is still in critical condition. But if he dies, it seems like a good example of involuntary manslaughter to me.

didnt use mace or try to use reasonable force to restrain the child, just went straight to taze. very nice. not sure if its legally sound but nice

that's beyond excessive. he tased a child for.. what, skipping school and being stubborn? that hardly warrants tasing a nine-year-old.

He had no reason to tazer the kid. It was definitely wrong on his part. He should have found a different way to restrain him, not use the tazer before trying.
