Marine Corps Leadership Traits - 0 views

An interesting read from a very different type of leadership style. I grew up just a few miles away from a Marine base my entire life, so this was pretty accurate with what I have witnessed.

What is Leadership in the Church? - 1 views

  •
How are women playing a role in leadership in the church. I found this article to be a bit abrasive but at least am happy that they're looking at the issue at all.

Not Paying Military in Shutdown Bad Idea | Reflections of a Rational Republican - 0 views

While I do not want to raise any flags about political affiliation...I do not understand what's been happening in the last couple of weeks with our budget issues. I live in a very military based town (San Diego) and this has certainly been a large topic of discussion around town. This does not specifically talk about "leadership" but to me, it seemed that there was no way this wasn't a reflection on leadership.

This book was an interesting find because while it's about leadership it is also about membership. How we act as leaders will potentially either grow or reduce membership in a congregational setting. While this may be completely apparent, it's something to look at when you're thinking of how you present yourself as a leader to a congregation.

I found this book an interesting find because I have worked a lot with youth. I found this to me useful particuarly if you were trying to form a student leadership team and training your student leaders. This book boasts that it uses fun and interactive ways to promote leadership and teach students not only the importance of leadership but how to become leaders themselves.
