In my search for an article, this particular one popped up simply because of the keyword, "leader." As I read though it a second time though, it occurred to me that although short, this article lifts up leadership in a variety of angles. The politicians are operating out of transactional leadership, while the police agencies seem to be operating out of transformational leadership. This may seem like a stretch, but the moral high ground appears to be the focus for decision-making by the police agencies.
