This is a great site for learning languages. You can pay for a membership and, of course, you get more access and more detailed lessons. However, the free version is just as good for a beginner. The beauty of this site is it allows you free access to learning the beginnings of a language to see if you enjoy it and want to learn more. At that point, you can pay the membership and continue learning. The free version is perfect for Spanish 1 and 2 students. It reinforces what they have learned, teaches them more, and offers an outlet for those students who wish to continue learning Spanish even after the semester has ended.

This is a great multiage study site for anyone. I have used it for personal Praxis studying and making flashcards for students who might not have access to the Internet. Anyone can open a free account; you also have a choice to upgrade. You can form groups. You can put passwords on any new review so only certain people can see them, or you can choose a public viewing. This program has saved many grades for me and my students. Enjoy.

I think this is a great site. It has information for students, parents, and teachers. There are links to games, discussions about difficult topics to help students, motivational information for parents and teachers, and a whole lot more. As a government website, the nice thing is that it is not cluttered by advertisements.

Even if the webquest perfectly fits your project, describe what changes you COULD make to the quest in order to make it better for a wider variety of learning levels or abilities. Paste your two links to your webquests into the appropriate section in your Livetext project.

Lots of great info for upper grades. Great videos and personal testimonies.

So sad. Thank you for sharing this website! My grandfather was in Germany during World War II and was able to retain a visa in order to move to the United States. My family is Jewish, so he would have been one of the many to be taken to the Holocaust. Some of his extended family that I never met were sent to the Holocaust and many died. My grandfather recently passed, but before he left us I was sure to ask questions so that I was familiar with his story. I like that you can see videos of survivors and their testimonials. How can people say that this never happened?

This is an excellent classroom tool that will get even the least engaged students to look up. Simply enter the class roster and this tool will randomly select a student's name.

Ben, I love this website. How wonderful it is to be able to select students in your class instead of having them raise their hands. I also like the fact that you can delete the students names once you call on them. Thank you for sharing this website.

I love this site for my students. It is interactive and also tied directly to many textbooks, including the one used in CMCSS. They can go to InterActMath.com from home when they have forgotten how to do a problem, or have missed school due to illness, and find out how to solve a similar problem. It keeps them from giving up when they get stuck on a problem from their homework. The program gives you problems to work through with interactive option to assist you through the problem correctly.
