The new Adobe CS5 (Creative Suite 5) is just around the corner for its final release. As an added perk, the developers have also bundled the whole package with a new cross compiler tool, which is going to let anyone convert their flash applications, into iPhone coded applications.

That's right, Adobe will allow developers to create applications in Flash that they can then port to the iPhone and iPod Touch as native applications. The new feature will be available in Flash Professional CS5, where developers will have the option to export as .ipa files.

As to be expected after the Terms of Service change that has plagued Adobe's iPhone intentions, Adobe is throwing in the towel for iPhone Flash app development.

Adobe, which acquired Macromedia in 2005, the creator and developer of Flash technology, will no longer provide software to support Apple's iPad, iPhone or iPod touch devices.
