One of the best websites I found while researching Standard 6.4 was the National Education Association's Lesson Plan site. The site focuses on lesson planning and provides teachers with a number of strategies for whatever topic they need. Not only does the NEA provide ideas for lesson plans, but they also offer different strategies and support for inside the classroom. Even better- it's free! There is no sign up or membership requirements. This is an excellent site to advance a teacher's own learning process and update their educational practice.

This is a really neat website. A teacher, student, or parent can sign up for free. For teachers, it is a good way to communicate things to your students or get advice from other educators. For students, they are able to view their homework and assignments and they are also able to communicate and meet new students with the same interests. For parents, they are able to view important bulletins from teachers and see upcoming events. This is a great website for everyone!

For Standard 6.4., one can use the Crayola website to find art-related lesson plans for any subject. Materials, time, grade level and significance are listed for each project. Additionally, techniques for all art supplies for the educator are given.

There are so many negatives views on technology and this website helps you teach your children.

This is an incredible tool that offers learning centered videos to enhance the 21st century classroom. The search directory has the ability to categorize, subcategorize, and select age appropriate titles for the intended curriculum. The site content is reviewed by teachers and other professionals for accuracy and appropriateness.

Yahoo! Messenger can be used for students and parents to contact their teacher should they have any issues with assignments, also for teachers to contact the parents should anything come up with the students.

This is a great website for teachers and parents with special needs children. It provides links to activities, articles, and data bases on the web. This could help anyone who needs to find resources for all types of special needs children.

This website is somewhat like a d2l and Diigo hybrid . You can create a group that your students can join and inform them of upcoming tests and post homework, and study guides. It's a convenient way for your students to contact you with questions. You're page looks somewhat like a facebook so it should be very easy to use for everyone

This is not only a cute and decorative website, I thought this was absolutely helpful to find other emerging resources that are made available to all of us future teachers! I really liked how it could be tied to using the state-standards within the curriculum. I really liked how you could print out freebie worksheets according to the subject and topic that was being taught. I hope everyone tries out this website, trust me, you won't regret it!
