Web Pages Don't Always Stay the Same (Static Pages)
Sometimes your teen will come across a great web page he wants to reference in his research paper. It can be a fact sheet, a journal article or abstract or something else. It's fine to reference the page, but it's important that he understand not all web pages are static.
That is, the information on the page can change depending on whether or not the web creator has designated the page to stay exactly the same. Blogs are good examples of non-static pages. The page changes daily as the next post appears.
To be careful, it's good form for your teen to reference the date the page was accessed in his bibliography. For example:
