Mathway "beta" - 0 views

Here is a more friendly version of Wolfram Alpha, essentially the google of math. Students can get step by step instructions on problem solving... this could act as an at home tutor. It is a sign up site, but it looks like this is free for teachers...not sure if there is a cost for students.

An engaging 10 minute talk challenging educators to reflect on their instructional strategies in light of the fact that students no longer need to go to school to access information/knowledge. Furthermore, she challenges us to consider allowing students to have a voice in forming their knowledge, learn through experience and failure.
