This is one of my first live renditions of Mahk Jchi by Pura Fe, member of ULALI, a Native American women's acappella group, whose sound encompasses an array of indigenous music including Southeast United States choral singing (pre-blues and gospel) and pre-Columbian music. +English Translation: Our hearts are full and our minds are good. This workshop is dedicated to all of you who enjoy singing but only sing in the car or in the bathroom; who have an inner urge and wish to sing; who never tried to perform in public or would like to get better at performing live. Also all singers and instrumentalists. More info: http://www.mbscyprus.com/presentation... Voiceprint is a group music game, where we use the voice as our instrument. Participants will work with voice experimentation and sound production, improvisation and expression through spontaneous interaction in an atmosphere of absolute acceptance and encouragement. We use the vibrations of our voice's sounds for relaxation, release and self-improvement in our personal journey. Mantras is a word or a short phrase that you continually repeat either aloud or silently to yourself in order to focus and clear your mind of any thoughts. Eventually, you can let go of the mantra and find yourself in the place of stillness and silence that is the goal of meditation. A few words about the facilitator: Marlia teaches classical guitar and composes, writes lyrics, arranges and records her songs, sometimes only with natural instruments and sometimes with the help of loopers, samples and effect pedals, where the voice always plays a leading role. She is a teacher and student of yoga and recently released her first independent solo album "Ode to Self" (2017). She also facilitates healing circles of improvised music coexistence through the voice, percussion instruments and dance. _

And in this emerging dance, we sing in celebration of Life beyond borders, beyond limitations, beyond fears.. we come together for a brief moment in Time and everything feels in place... and everything feels like Home.. Rhythm Exchange: A dance & live music project 2017 The dancers Georgios Pillas and Ann-Sylvia from New York performed for a third summer at Technopolis 20 to rock'n'roll, tango, pop, waltz and African beats and also to songs from the first independent solo album "Ode to Self" (2017) by Marlia project. Live improv music by Euripides Dikaios on percussion, Spyros Socratous on double-bass and Marlia Tombazou on guitar and vocals.
