Moments like this are meant to be shared and remembered. On 16/6/2022 we were appointed by PuraVida Festival (Kaya, Yoi, Julia, Walker and myself Marlia) to hold a cacao ceremony circle (one of the biggest ones of approx. 400 people) with sacred songs as part of the opening/welcoming first night of the festival. This is what came through after opening the 4 cardinal directions, calling in Mother Earth, Father Sky, Spirits of this Land, Guardians, Masters and Spirit of Cacao. Free your voice workshop called "RISING VOICE" coordinated by Marlia at Maxja Holistic festival 2018, Sardinia Italy We come together, standing in a circle. We just start to sing and tune in. Before you know it, you enter a different space inside yourself, feeling free and open to share your voice and feel your heart. This is a group music game, where we use the voice as our instrument. Participants work with voice experimentation and sound production, improvisation and expression through spontaneous interaction. Within a friendly environment we will have the opportunity to discover the full potential of our voice and reconnect with the music nature that exists within us all, right from the moment we are born. This cover song "Directions" originally written by Nahko and Medicine for the People was performed live by Marlia project in May 2019 at the Collective Movement festival, Cyprus. Collective Movement is a three-day mind, body, spirit and entertainment event. Our love for nature and life brings us to our 3rd event. During this weekend you will be given the chance to meet the team at Collective Movement. Through our events we aim to develop our connection to nature and therefore have always opted for beautiful outdoor locations. This year we are hosting our event, on 17-19 May 2019, at Tris-Elies, an eco-village in the mountains of Cyprus.
