OK this is a reach but one worth taking because of the emotional quality/content of the film. What separates people who empathize and get involved and those who do not? What else could be done to have resolved this issue? Is it enough to just feel sympathy/pity? Do other things need to happen in order to effectively intervene in a bullying situation?
