Batan Island is the second largest island in the province of Batanes. It is home to Basco, the capital town, along with three other municipalities. This island is one of the most remote places in the country and is sparsely populated. The isolation means that the island lacks the luxury that are offered by other popular resorts in the country but it also allows tourist to experience a relaxing vacation away from crowded hotspots.
