I spent last summer vacationing in Europe. I started in London it rained, travelled through France and kept in a old converted remote farmhouse with its own pool and then travelled down through Spain to the Costa del Sol where I then spent 3 days in a villa high in the Andalusian mountains with beautiful sea and mountain views and obviously its own swimming pool. Both pools were self-builds and were special. The swimming pool in Spain were built by the villa owner, a terrific man named John, who was an ex pat contractor from London. The swimming pool he had created was 25 ft by 32 ft. It wasnt block, the floor wasnt level, the tiling wasnt level, the slope of the floor wasnt also, and you realize, it was the most effective pool Ive ever been in. It had been good.
I'd travelled to Spain to see the location as its anywhere I'd always wanted to visit on a vacation and have you any idea, I have to go back as I didnt see a whole lot of it. On the other hand I might try a mountain cabin having a lake to swim in. Thats some thing Ive often thought would be fun. Its a difficult decision, sea o-r swimming pool. Perhaps I could try both or better yet perhaps its time I developed my own swimming pool at home.
