It is a primary source because it is a photo taken in 1938, when Chamberkain went back to Great Britain after the Munich Agreement. When he went back he had a paper on his hand. This one was the Agreemnet signed with Hitler. It symbolized peace for him. He received a hero´s welcome back in Britain. The perspective is from the British.

"My good friends, this is the second time in our history that there has come back from Germany to Downing Street peace with honour.
I believe it is peace for our time... And now I recommend you to go home and sleep quietly in your beds."
Chamberlain, speaking to the crowds outside 10 Downing Street after the Munich Agreement in 1938.

It is a primary source because it is an extract from Chamberlain´s speech after the Munich Agreement. The message is that Chamberlain thought that by giving the hole of the Sudetenland to him, he had reached peace and that Hitler´s ambitions were over. He was completely convinced for this, The perspective is from Chamberlain´s because it is an extract of his speech.

It is a primary source because it was published on 3 October 1938 in the Daily Express. In this one Chamberlain is confronting Mars, who is the God of War for the ancient Roman religion. The sources´s message is that Chamberlain wanted to avoid war. He followed the policy of Appeasment in order to not make his country enter in another war. He was keen on not suffering such a devastation, as the one sufferend in the WW1, again. The perspective is from the British because it shows a very positive image of Chamberlain. It shows him as a hero.

"I give you my word of honour that Czechoslovakia has nothing to fear from the Reich" Hitler speaking to Chamberlain in 1938. This is a primary source because it is an extract from one of Hitler´s speech. The source demostrates that Hitler said that he did not have plans over Czechoslovakia. He states that he did not want to controll Czechoslovakia. However, the source demostrates that Hitler was a liar because in May 1938 he made it clear that he intended to fight Czechoslovakia if necessary. The source is from Hitler´s perspective.
