Life was very hard for me. My problem solving skills were very poor. Every time a problem would come up; my mind would automatically go to a place where I would think about suicide. It didn't matter how big or small the problem was, I would just always start thinking about ways of killing myself.

Depression I've been depressed since I was eight-years-old, I'm 39 years old now. When I was depressed I would think about how bad things are and just expect them to get worse. A lot of the time I would think about suicide and how nice it would be to die and be done with everything having to do with life.

So, you may be wondering; what is this guy writing about and why is he writing it? Well, you see, I feel the need to explain things because I don't think that people really understand what it's like to live with a head injury.

What I Live With Depression is a condition that I have lived with all of my life because when I was three years old, I got hit by a car. This caused severe brain damage and I was in a coma for two weeks after the accident. The doctors didn't think I was going to survive and yet, I proved them wrong.
