We live in a society where we're conditioned to always be striving for more; for bigger and better things.When do we ever arrive at a happy place? Do we arrive there today, tomorrow, next week, next month, next year? Hopefully, by reading this lens; you'll start to recognize the things in your life that you do have and are able to enjoy. I think, it's important to take the time to acknowledge the things in our lives that bring us joy.Also, there is a saying that whatever you think about expands. My theory is that by focusing on the things that we are grateful for on a regular basis; is that we attract more things to be grateful for.I've found that by having an attitude of gratitude, I can enjoy the abundance that surrounds me.The more that I'm grateful for what I have, the more I can appreciate life in the present moment. The more I live in the present moment, the greater I can build the stepping stones for a great future. I've also found that by having an attitude of gratitude; that I'm more focused on the solutions, than the problems. So, it's important to remember the power of gratitude.

I'm a writer with style and flair. I rely on my knowledge, insight, and imagination to find what I need to write. I have devoted myself to writing poetry and stories that come from the heart. My aim is to touch my readers in their heart and soul. My dedication and devotion to the art is best expressed in one word, and that is: passion. I have a passion for writing that drives me to achieve the very best. I'm constantly on the search for new material. In my mind, there's always room for improvement. I have a light in me and I'm letting it shine.

My experience told me that I had nothing to say. My strength said, wait a minute; and, my hope was trying to push me forward to become a leader. To have my voice heard by as many people as I could get my message out to.

Everybody goes through life and wonders what it is that we're supposed to be doing. Most of us go through life and accept what happens to us, as destiny, with no idea of how to live life to its fullest potential.

People seem to have an obsession to want to predict the end of time. Some would say that the human obsession to predict the end of time is a psychologically built in need of a human being.

Most essays are designed to prove a point or to lead the reader through a logical set of points in order to arrive at a conclusion. A descriptive essay is not this type of essay, but rather allows the writer to use a great deal more freedom in language usage and subject matter.

A site on which one can publish one's fiction. The social networking aspect of the site seems to be limited to the posting of reviews. Having not yet registered an account on this site, I don't know whether or not one can screen the reviews of one's stories. As each story page seems to link to a page of reviews of the story appearing on that page, if the answer to this question is "no", then what one would have, in effect, would be a guestbook that one couldn't moderate, with all of the possibilities for abuse that creates. I don't know that's the case, but I also don't know that's not the case, so I'll set up that account in a few days and learn more. I just didn't want somebody blindly stumbling into trouble, thinking that I had checked out something that I hadn't, yet.

It's so easy to quit when times are tough. This is why we need to remember certain quotes and sayings. That is where I come in. I'm here to the rescue! Let me just put on my super hero cape. Ok, now I'm ready. Are you?

Has it ever occurred to you, how to think different thoughts to create a different life? Do you ever wonder; if you think different thoughts, will you get different results?

In life, it's helpful to know how to beat the woes me syndrome. It's so easy to sit around and feel sorry for our-selves. To say that life is unfair and that life is treating us badly is a way of shirking the responsibility for, our own lives. We are in charge of how we think and feel, after-all.

To be truly inspired and motivated to act, I have to have a deep understanding of why I'm doing things, because otherwise, I figure; what's the point? Thinking like this isn't always beneficial and it can be quite a hindrance when you know that there are things that need to get done.

A reaction essay is an essay that is written in response to something else. The initial topic that the writer is responding to could be anything from a speech that was heard to another essay to the latest breaking news event.

This week's chapter of The Novel of Life takes us to Madrid, Spain, where Lethe Bashar follows a street up to the top of a hill and discovers a small gathering of festive Spaniards. Lethe sometimes leaves the Senora' apartment at night. He has a habit of going out to buy hashish. On this night however he sticks around the neighborhood and wanders the streets nearby. Upon witnessing the Spaniards, Lethe is struck by a longing to connect with people his age.

You can be spiritual by meditating and getting to that calm space within yourself. For me, that space is often an empty white room that I have to decide what to put in it or what to do with it.
