Moore, Karenza. "A Commitment to Clubbing." Peace Review 16.4 (2004): 459-465.
In this article, Moore discusses the possibilities for clubbing's "original promise of tolerance, peace and love" (460) in the shadow of drugs and sexual predatory actions that people typically associate with the clubbing scene. Moore concludes that while Western powers like the governments of the United Kingdom and the United States negatively perceive club culture, the diversity, tolerance, and celebration of life that reflects the clubbing ideal is still possible to acheive (465).
