  http://www.twiducate.com will allow you to create classes and post messages and images. Jen Masterson and Merry Sweet are using this with their 6th grade classes.
  This app had only one drawback: you couldn't upload images from your phone directly to the site. Images need a URL. The workaround we found acceptable was to post the images to a FC web folder and link them from that URL.
