Nestled amidst the lap of towering peaks of the Himalayas lies Lukla, a small town in the Khumbu region of Nepal. Often regarded as the gateway to Everest, Lukla serves as a starting point for many great trekking destinations, one of them being the legendary Mount Everest Base Camp. However, before the real adventure starts reaching Lukla, it is a great adventure in itself, often involving a flight from Kathmandu or Ramechhap.
