Hihotels expands communication suite for franchise support - 0 views

    HIHOTELS BY HOSPITALITY International, a franchiser of conversion and new-build economy hotels, recently expanded its communication suite to enhance dialogue with its franchisees, supporting hotel owners through multi-channel engagement. The company maintains open channels at all levels, including direct access to the CEO, hihotels said in a statement. "At hihotels, the strength of our brands is rooted in the voices of our franchisees and the relationships we build," said Chris Guimbellot, hihotels' president and CEO. "We are small enough to listen, yet large enough to deliver-enabling us to focus on individual properties and provide unparalleled industry support." The expanded communication suite includes: Advisory council: Launched in 2023, this forum meets quarterly and includes franchisees, a vendor and the hihotels director, allowing franchisees to help shape hihotels' hihub: Introduced in December 2023, this digital platform facilitates continuous communication between franchisees and the hihotels team, offering educational resources to enhance hotel operations. WhatsApp group: Rolled out in the first quarter of 2024, the real-time messaging platform enables franchisees to contribute to system-wide improvements and build relationships with other franchisees and the hihotels corporate team. Newsletters: INNside Track, a quarterly newsletter, keeps franchisees informed on industry and marketing trends, company updates, events and networking opportunities. It is complemented by "An Update from Guimbellot," which highlights challenges, opportunities and new programs. Each communication includes Guimbellot's phone number and encourages franchisees to reach out with questions, concerns, ideas and feedback.     FIVE PROPERTIES IN the hihotels by Hospitality International portfolio have won the brand's 2023 awards for meeting and exceeding the company's standards of operations. All are Asian American owned. The hihotels 2023 winners are: President's Award - Scottish Inns & Suites in Hitchcock, Texas, owned by Nareshkumar Patel and Tejal Patel. Given to a franchisee who has been loyal to hihotels by Hospitality International, consistently demonstrated a willingness to accept positive change within the hotel industry, and received positive communication from their guests. Gander Award - Red Carpet Inn in Rochester, Minnesota, owned by Veena Patel. Given to a franchisee who embraces their local community in offering sponsorship for local events or teams, participates in charitable events, or embraces the needs of the local community. Named after Gander the service dog from Operation Fetch, a non-profit that performs planned acts of community kindness to further appreciation, education and awareness about service dogs PTSD, and dogs for visible and invisible wounds.

Home2 Suites Opens in Whitestown, Indiana - 0 views

    The Home2 Suites by Hilton Whitestown Indianapolis NW is now open in Whitestown, Indiana. It is owned by the Jetha Group with Sumeet Jetha as president of operations and managed by Hotel Equities. The 107-room hotel is near Grand Park Sports Campus, Indiana Motor Speedway, Amerisource Bergen, Indy Car Exchange and Indianapolis International Airport. Amenities include a combined laundry and fitness area, indoor pool and Digital Key check-in. During its opening weekend, Home2 Suites Whitestown Indianapolis donated all of its proceeds to So Big, an organization that provides assistance to women facing unexpected pregnancies. "We are excited to open our doors to travelers visiting metro Indianapolis and serving our community," said Keith Adkins, the hotel's general manager. "Whitestown and the surrounding area is a great place to visit and stay for a while with an abundance of amenities at your door step, including nearby shopping and dining."

Maya Hotels acquires two Hampton Inns In North and South Carolina - 0 views

    CHARLOTTE-BASED MAYA HOTELS has acquired two Hampton Inn hotels in North Carolina and South Carolina. The two Hampton Inns boast a total of 210 guest rooms and are Maya Hotels' second and third acquisitions over the last six months, the company said in a statement. The hotels are the 100-room Hampton Inn & Suites Charlotte-Arrowood Road in Charlotte, North Carolina, and the 110-room Hampton Inn Columbia Northeast-Fort Jackson in Columbia, South Carolina. Maya Hotels, led by JD Deva as CEO, acquired the hotels on March 11. The Charlotte property is near Carowinds Amusement Park and Charlotte Douglas International Airport. The Columbia hotel is near U.S. Army Fort Jackson the University of South Carolina and downtown Columbia. Amenities at each hotel include outdoor pools, fitness centers, meeting spaces, and business centers. "We are excited to acquire these two top-branded assets at a discount to replacement cost," said Krishna Deva, vice president of Maya Hotels. "Charlotte and Columbia have historically been top markets for us, and we are thrilled to grow our presence in these two cities with such a strong brand affiliation." The acquired hotels complement Maya Hotels' existing footprint and will increase the current operating synergies the company has across North Carolina and South Carolina regions. The hotels will be renovated and managed by Maya Hotels. "We are so happy to continue growing our relationships with the Charlotte and Columbia communities, as well as with Hilton. We are also thankful to each of our investors and banking partners," said Deva. "The success of this transaction is a testament to our track record in the hospitality industry and our ability to adapt quickly in a rapidly changing lending environment. VMV Capital opens ESA in South Carolina - 0 views

    Extended Stay America Premier Suites Duncan, located in Duncan, South Carolina, is now open. VMV Capital, led by Viren Patel as president, Mike Bhula as COO and Vinny Patel as CEO, developed and will manage the four-floor, 88-room property, ESA said in a statement. Newcrestimage Opens New Hilton Garden Inn In Texas - 0 views

    A new Hilton Garden Inn is now open in the SilverLake Crossings project in Grapevine, Texas. It is owned by NewcrestImage led by Mehul Patel, chairman and CEO and is the company's third tri-branded hotel. The 152-room hotel is adjacent to one of the company's dual-brand properties that includes a 181-room Courtyard by Marriott and a 120-suite TowneSuites by Marriott that opened in December 2013. The Hilton Garden Inn is two miles from Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. SilverLake Crossings is a 52-acre multi-use community and the entire "hotel campus" offers 453 rooms, two lobby bars, multiple dining options, and more than 20,000 square feet of meeting space at the nearby SilverLake 2200 Conference Center.
