FASHION JAPAN - 0 views

This blog is all about the modern fashion trends in Japan. The fashion industry is rapidly growing in Japan, and is even developing new trends faster than the U.S. When searching this site, I thought I was viewing "Huate Couture", but I was actually surprised that they were pictures of real people and not just fashion models/designers. This blog updates the newest trends each day, and according to the blog, men are starting to wear heels.

Harajuku Girls, Harajuku Fashion, Lolita Goth - 0 views

This article describes the biggest fashion trends/and styles in Tokyo. The two most popular styles in Tokyo are "Lolita Goth" and "Harajuku". Through this article I found out that stores in Japan sell the clothes that the teens are creating and renovating, compared to the US where brands market to sell their designs. Fashion in Japan does not have to do with what brand you are wearing, but how you express yourself differently than other people.

The majority of their "fashion majors" are women in their 20s. Their biggest concern now is color. "Japanese fashion today is all about adding color." Some of their latest fashions can be seen as "bizarre." Although some don't appreciate the new styles and colors of the fashion, there are others that show lots of enthusiasm in the clothes they wear. I guess it all depends on personality!

Just like the United States, japanese fashion changes from time to time. Japanese men and women still wear kimonos when they have traditional events. Japanese business men and women wear suits and in their casual time they wear jeans and t shirts. Fashion is more extreme in Tokyo and Kyoto.
