Waxhaw-Blanchard/Lawrence--I have known about Second Life for awhile now because of the video I am posting. It was created to teach others about cystic fibrosis, but most importantly it allows those with CF to interact and communicate. Why is this important? Because people with CF are not supposed to be around each other because they cross infect each other with life-threatening bacteria which can further damage their lungs. Second Life is a great resource for them to have a sense of belonging when ordinarily they cannot.
One of the coolest videos to lightheartedly shine light on the limitless possibilities. This video goes through a variety of effortless changes of the main character and actually makes the viewer feel that transition into a different way of thinking, working, creating is...easy.
Great example of how we must embrace the massive nature of change. A great reminder of how our nation is at risk and how we must be a part of the change in choice.
