  • I will take a soft drink can, a cup of coffee, and a sports drink and test the Ph levels in each to tell which drink is worse for your teeth.

Hi WL folks. Here's how I shared this bookmark. When I'm on the site, I click the Diigo Bookmark button. Check the box for "Share to a Group." Select the group name. Then I can enter a comment that is viewable only by our group. Info about this site: I worked on this project from 2000 to 2006. The lesson plans that it contains don't have much in the way of Web 2.0, but they're solid technology integration lesson plans nonetheless.

***testing one more thing***CREATE for Mississippi is a technology integration project I worked with several years back. It includes over two hundred teacher-created lesson plans, searchable by topic and by Mississippi Curriculum Framework.

As you begin to use Diigo, post some of the tips for efficient Diigo use that you encounter. I'd love to see what you discover. I've been using Diigo for a long time now, and I'm still learning how to do things differently/better!

Tip #1 - Reduce size of Diigo Toolbar: I'm greedy for screen real estate, and something has to be VERY important if it is going to reside permanently in my toolbars. Some of Diigo's buttons are not that important to me (or the extra millisecond necessary to click to get to the feature another way makes it worth removing them). So I drop the size of my Diigo toolbar to include just two buttons. Then I slide it up alongside one of my other bars, so it doesn't take up its own line in my browser.

Here's how: On the Diigo button, click the little drop-down arrow. Select Options. In the window that appears, deselect any buttons you think you could do without. Then, depending on your browser, you can move it so that it resides beside one of the other bars.

    Bill,

I had the same experience as you - editing a bookmark that had been previously shared, hoping that it would simultaneously update the shared bookmark within the group, but finding that it had not.

The quickest fix that I found is to go back to my original bookmark, make any changes there and re-share the bookmark with the group(s). Once I did that, the bookmark was updated in the groups as well.

Maggie - do you have any suggestions for us in this matter?

Hi everyone! This is just a sandbox where we can play with the Diigo groups feature.

Some things you may want to try:

    1. posting a forum message to the group
    2. sharing bookmarks with the group - The cool thing about this is if you share to our group, you can set it so that only group members can see your comments, highlights, and sticky notes.
