The members of the University of Mount Union's Writing Center created this instructional video about writing center tutorials. The video runs through a typical tutorial and could be useful for tutors and students to learn how to prepare for and what to expect from a tutorial.

This video is a general informational video about the Writing Center at Walden University where various members of the Writing Center talk about the online tutorial process from start to finish, including sends papers to tutors and providing feedback on papers.

The Online Writing Lab (OWL) at Purdue University houses writing resources and instructional material, and we provide these as a free service of the Writing Lab at Purdue. Students, members of the community, and users worldwide will find information to assist with many writing projects. Teachers and trainers may use this material for in-class and out-of-class instruction.  This is a very widely used site for open access materials on writing. Includes materials on research and citation, teacher and tutor resources, subject-specific writing, job search writing, ESL, MLA and APA guides, etc.

While many scholars have been expressing the need for more recognition for creative writing studies for some time, the field is still young and the organization is brand new.
