We believe today's students have tremendous potential, are interested in making connections between their academic study and careers, and deserve widely accessible career information. Who are we? Our World Interactive is a not-for profit web and film project jointly produced by WHYY (the Philadelphia and Delaware public broadcasting affiliate) and GlenDevon Group (a private company), Life Science Career Alliance (an industry and education partnership) and the Chester County Intermediate Unit (an educational service agency). . WHAT We offer EXPLORE YOUR FUTURE is an interactive website for job and career exploration targeted to teenagers and young adults in middle school through college and the mentors who advise them. OUR WORLD is a film series highlighting a broad spectrum of careers within one or more industry clusters.

From there take a peek at one of the many lesson plans, in subject areas such as science, mathematics, and social studies. "The ways that video conferencing can enhance the educational experience are numerous. If I had to define what a 'Personal Learning Network' is, I would keep it simple and broad: n. - the entire collection of people with whom you engage and exchange information, usually online. Personal Learning Networks, or PLNs, have been around forever. The Inclusive Schools Network (ISN) is a web-based resource for families, schools and communities that promotes inclusive educational practices. This resource has grown out of Inclusive Schools Week™, an internationally-recognized annual event sponsored by Education Development Center, Inc. (EDC). ISN's mission is "to encourage, embolden and empower people to design and implement effective inclusive schools, by sharing insights and best practices and by providing opportunities for connection." ISN provides year-round opportunities for families and educators around the world to network and build their knowledge of inclusive education.
