Both of these presentations are excellent. If you have whiteboard or clickers in your school or use promethean software you will learn so much from Deb Pickerings presentation. I recommend that everyone take time to review these archived presentations.

Hey gang. I know you are all busy people but if you want to see two presentations that will grow and engage your thinking as an educator check out these. They really sum up what technology integration is all about. Good use of technology builds on what educators understand about effective instruction and assessment strategies.

I know the title may sound like a no-brainer, but I chose to share this article because it focuses on the proven value of Interactive Whiteboards. I have one and I know a few others in our class have them. One of my goals for this course is to better understand the possibilities of the technology available to me. I'm really looking forward to developing lessons using the voter response system, just one way to collect data about student learning.

This site offers a growing bank of imaginative, highly visual teaching-aids developed for use with interactive whiteboards in 11-18 Schools. The resources are designed to be used as rich sources of visually stimulating material, making use of both animations and drag and drop interactivity. The appropriate Key Stage is indicated for each resource. It is hoped that the resources will help students to make sense of some of the more challenging concepts they encounter.
