The following virtual tours bring opportunities to explore cities, famous landmarks and buildings, museums, college campuses, and even outer space. You can learn how things are made, explore the human body or that of a life-sized whale, and visit ball parks and theme parks. There is even a section of incredible virtual tours that Google Earth has compiled that shares the world in a whole new way.

Founded in 1994, the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History is a nonprofit organization supporting the study and love of American history through a wide range of programs and resources for students, teachers, scholars, and history enthusiasts throughout the nation. Smithsonial Education for Educators, Families and Students

This site is really interesting. I clicked on educators and I was able to search a topic by keyword, grade, as well as state and standard. When the search came up It has numerous additional links to go out to. It really looked like the links had good materials for teachers and kids. The one that I chose had lessons that could be printed out for educators.

Great interactive website that allows the user to visit a museum to learn about places in Europe and the Middle East. Very easy to navigate around the site and is made by National Geographic.
