Langwitches has done a great job in coming up with a  list of great educational iPad apps organized into categories with different headings. The only thing that is missing in his work and which if he had paid attention to would have made his work even  way greater is to make the app images clickable. Instead of clicking on any app name to access it you will have to type its name in Google or iTunes store to find it.

At Google, we support the education of families on how to stay safe online. Connect Safely is an organization creating materials to educate students, teachers, and parents about the safe use of social networking services. One of the resources that Connect Safely offers is a series of educational videos. The videos offer quick little lessons about what can happen to the information posted on social network sites.
