  When I bought a touchscreen-enabled laptop, for some reason I had no way to use it. What's the problem?

  You probably didn't have much luck with the original driver package, and the Windows Update Center probably couldn't find the right driver. For this reason I found a hid compliant touch screen driver for me on the web, which was much easier and faster than waiting for a miracle from the Windows troubleshooter. I suggest reading more about it on the web.
